Presented by the Joy Foundation (Tahoe), the festival supports local non-profits – the 2025 beneficiary is The Tahoe Truckee School of Music. Conceived by Matt Axton and inspired by his father Hoyt Axton's iconic hit "Joy to the World," the Tahoe Joy Festival is dedicated to bringing more joy to the Tahoe City community through music, art, and connection.
