Tahoe Truckee School of Music instructs and supports youth and adults of all skill levels in the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee region who want the opportunity to learn, create and engage with music, experience its positive benefits, cultivate important life skills, and have a deeper community connection.
Through this program, Tahoe Truckee School of Music partners with schools, educators, and youth organizations to provide a place for kids to gain hands-on learning, to have a creative outlet, and to be comfortable and grow.
Studies have long demonstrated the importance of music education in the development of children and in their success in school and in life. Arts and Music education teaches collaboration and creative thinking while also providing students with a sense of cultural heritage, inspiring appreciation of emotions and experience of others.
